Audience Member interesting as an historical wartime movie. the plot is not cohesive and lucille ball's forte is not in this kind of role. it's not a good movie, but the entire country was at war and this was a (failed) attempt to lighten the mood. interesting to watch. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Lavish but unexciting MGM musical is really a hodgepodge of musical acts tied to a weak plot; the highlight is Virginia O'Brien's "Say That We're Sweethearts Again." Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member another early technicolor winner from Ball & all star MGM cast. Lucy starts out on broadway and ends up working in a WWII shipyard.
