Audience Member I do like the concept of people living in an artificial world where Eve - a well-known popstar - is nothing more than a hologram, though there were a few things that disappointed me: The main character's voice (voiced by Vic Mignogna) doesn't seem to be fitting; Even Robotech: The Movie (where they chose Kerrigan Mahan) did a more decent job! Another thing that disappointed me about the ending, is that it doesn't seem to be an accomplished one. Even though Shogo is somewhat unharmed and smiling as he walks away (and yes, I'm aware that I've spoiled the ending), he didn't win that battle, so the purpose is blatantly missing. Those two proved to be the undoing of what could've been a brilliant movie series. But then again, I did watch the English dub of this, so it might not be that bad in it's native language. It's been called the movie which inspired the Matrix and Dark City and it really shows. However this is just the set up, part 2 is the payoff.
