Jens B Conan film number 5 lands the Detective Boys, Kogoro, and Ran, in a super-duper mega-skyscraper. I mean, it's the Twin Towers in 2001, what could possibly happen? The crime story involves a few murders with a typical Conan motive, but the finale has more to do with the B-story, which revolves around the machinations of the organization. And up until the finale, this film was a lot of fun. Until the Ford Mustang GT convertible is deployed... So it's an over-the-top "Die Hard" rip-off, but it's still quite entertaining. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 07/09/25 Full Review Audience Member The movie is great, but the motive for the crime is because the two towers that split Fuji are somewhat unbelievable and the appearance of Gin, Vodka and the Black Organization is sketchy, not very prominent. I loved for example, the design for the two towers, and I also liked the paintings of the painter. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Read all reviews
