matthias s "Merry Madagascar" is a zany, festive romp that brings the holiday spirit to the animal kingdom. With the quirky quartet of Alex, Marty, Melman, and Gloria from "Madagascar," this film whisks you away on a riotous adventure. The plot swirls around when Santa's sleigh crash-lands on the island, setting off a chain of hilarious events. The characters' antics are as colorful as Christmas lights, especially when they try to save Christmas and become Santa's substitutes. The animation is vibrant, capturing the joyful chaos of the holiday season. The witty dialogue and slapstick comedy ensure laughter throughout. However, while the film is a joyful escapade, it lacks a bit in depth and complexity compared to its predecessors. The pacing is swift, almost like Santa's sleigh ride itself, making it an enjoyable but not entirely fulfilling holiday treat. Nonetheless, for a family-friendly, laughter-packed holiday adventure, "Merry Madagascar" delivers a jolly good time! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Funnier than Shrek The Halls. A must see short if you are a fan of the films Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Merry Madagascar is pretty generic. It's got it's highs and lows, but it definitely isn't a classic or anything. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
