Jason Bailey Flavorwire Even now, all these years later, most of the parties involved are pretty clueless about how utterly, incomprehensibly bad their movie is. And that, truth be told, is part of its charm. Jun 21, 2016 Full Review Roger Moore Tribune News Service Ineptly written and badly-acted, it's a terrible movie. But it's also a trip, an amusing and striking acid flashback to the cocaine and Reagan, to pre-Grunge Loverboy-Benatar rock and Linda Hamilton "Terminator" hair, the very definition of a cult film. Rated: 1.5/4 Dec 12, 2012 Full Review Marjorie Baumgarten Austin Chronicle Nonsensical dialogue, painful acting, lots of strobe lights, and even more fighting -- what more could a person want? Perhaps a beheading? Miami Connection has that, too. Rated: 0/5 Nov 9, 2012 Full Review Mike Massie Gone With The Twins It isn't merely bad; it's so deficient in every moviemaking aspect that it's routinely hilarious. Rated: 1/10 Jan 2, 2022 Full Review Tim Brayton Alternate Ending Anything can be this incompetently made - but this incompetently made and also this openly in love with filmmaking and humanity? That's a much rarer combination indeed. Rated: 1/5 Aug 29, 2018 Full Review Sean Axmaker Stream on Demand "[A] gonzo B-movie from the eighties created by Y.K. Kim, a martial arts instructor and inspirational speaker who took his talents to the big screen despite a complete lack of screen charisma or acting talent." Mar 2, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews

Bucky R Manos-level incompetence meets a musical Miami Vice for a Tae Kwon Do showdown. #friendsforever Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/23/24 Full Review Dappa D nonsensical bundle of fun, yacht rock taekwondo nerds fight bike ninjas? what's not to love Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 07/19/23 Full Review tbewin1 z I do not understand "so bad it's good". This movie is very hard to watch because it is plain bad...period. The "good guys" murder dozens of people and we are supposed to cheer for them? They also converse with each other like children even though they are adults (and you cannot understand Kim at all). Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/13/23 Full Review DanTheMan 2 Miami Connection has such a similar vibe to Rad in that it's extremely passionate and yet oh-so-delightfully cheesy, a killer soundtrack and lovingly 80s in action. Miami Connection was first brought to my attention due to the use of Friends Forever in Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon and ever since that day 10 years ago, I've been itching to watch this. This isn't your typical "so bad it's good" type of movie, more like "so good it's surprisingly great" wherein we see everything and the kitchen sink thrown at the screen and everything sticking the landing in a way that's just so hilariously badass and utterly joyful. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/14/23 Full Review Jens B ONLY THROUGH THE ELIMINATION OF VIOLENCE CAN WE ACHIEVE WORLD PEACE Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/23/23 Full Review Audience Member An incompetent mess that makes you laugh at how bad it is. Completely baffling, one scene to the next leaves you utterly confused as to what the hell is happening Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews
