Scott Weinberg eFilmCritic.com You'd be better off spinning Near Dark or The Lost Boys one more time than you would bringing this one home. Direk Jeff C So many loopholes in the story. Very slow pacing. I fell asleep. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 10/28/23 Full Review Darrin C Saw this in 2006. After seeing thousands of films since I can still say it's 1 of the worst films I've ever seen. It boring, unpleasant to look at and no one seems to have experience. I saw this while going through a phase watching every bad horror film I could find. And have all had a special dislike for this. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Midnight Mass is a really good show. Gripping storyline, great writing, stellar acting by all the main characters. This one is addictive and thought-provoking. Loved it :) Thank you!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member Don't expect the usual horror pic. It is talky and metaphorical and if you are interested in matters of faith, grief and death, fascinating. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Awful take on the vampire legend. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie could have been so much better. The plot was well-constructed, but unfortunately the acting coupled with poor execution and bad effects killed whatever worth the story had. Most of the time I was bored out of my mind while I waited for something to happen. The makeup and the special effects are horrible, and this was made in 2003. I know it wasn't a big-budget film, but they could have found good CG artists from anywhere, virtually for free. There are films with no budgets at all that produce better-looking crap than this. One star for trying, but trust me, I put myself through this punishment so you don't have to. Don't see it. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Read all reviews
