      What to Know

      Critics Consensus

Mile 22 lets the bullets fly -- and not much else -- in a thrill-deficient action thriller whose title proves sadly fitting for a film that feels close to a marathon endurance test.

Tammy S💜 All I can say it...ACTION ACTION PLOT TWIST 🤯🤯🤯🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. There needs a part 2, One was just not enough ❤ Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/13/22 Full Review Christian K Basically an outright disaster of filmmaking, Besides the few and far between Iko fight scenes. The editing and narrative is nauseating. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 04/15/24 Full Review Amir A Where to begin with this monstrosity of a film. There's only one good action scene but besides that this movie is one of the worst movies I've ever seen in my life. Mark Walbherg is incredibly annoying with his stupid rubber band and his excessive shouting and everyone in this had potty mouths and kept swearing every single 10 seconds. The Violence In this is absolutely disgusting and if anyone sees this, do not watch this movie. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/10/24 Full Review So N Much better than the critics condescend to express. It works as an easy watch thriller which has a twist that isn't quite expected even though there is a you-know-what-they-don't-know parallel thread running. And yes it's about a bunch of neuro divergent ghost operatives, so moods swings, fast sentences that bang together, bipolar behaviour are all badges worn for the show, and whether that was effectively authentic or not I don't know, but I went with it, and to hear some complain they couldn't follow it baffles me. It's a study in confusion, stop being clever! Give it a go, honestly. I don't go above 3 stars except for really standout movies... Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/09/24 Full Review Ganesh P It's a good movie Iam waiting for the second part Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/05/24 Full Review Sam F It didn't have a compelling script or cast chemistry, but its cardinal sin was the poor direction and camera work in the action/fight scenes. The Blair Witch style just made it annoying and hard to follow, although probably cut production costs a lot. It could have been a lot better, I think. There were some bones there, but they were thrown out and left to the hyenas. I did make it about 2/3 through before I gave up, so there's that. Ben Sachs Chicago Reader I often had trouble understanding what was going on, and since all the characters come off as arrogant jerks, I also found it hard to care.
