MIND BODY SPIRIT follows Anya, an aspiring yoga influencer, as she embarks on a ritual practice left behind by her estranged grandmother. What starts as a spiritual self-help guide quickly evolves into something much more sinister. As Anya becomes obsessed with the mysterious power of the practice, she unwittingly unleashes an otherworldly entity that begins to take control of her life -- and her videos. Now Anya must race to unlock the truth, before her descent into madness threatens to consume her mind, body and spirit.

It's a deliciously spooky and innovative found-footage film that doubles as a social horror for those seeking more thought-provoking fare. Between the lead's mesmerizing performance and the atmospheric terror, this film kept me on the edge of my seat.

Gimmicky without being exploitative, a trip into the pathetic and lost self, Mind Body Spirit’s small scale opens up enough to be compelling and tense - at least here and there.

I went into this with high hopes &, like others, was a little disappointed. The overall concept had potential, but I just wish it had been executed better. The acting/dialog leaves much to be desired.

I'm really salty at the score for tricking me into watching this and like other audience reviewers I am fully suspicious of how and why this movie has such a high rating. The main actress is unbearably annoying. The plot is nothing and still somehow full of holes. The special effects are laughable. The whole thing is just ridiculous. I'm angry to have seen it.

This is exactly why nobody takes RT ratings seriously anymore. The fact THIS movie is in the 90s shows that the system is broken. Drawn out nonsensical horror tropes done just painfully slow and boring. And I don’t know if the main actress was aiming for being the most annoying person alive that you don’t want to listen to for 5 minutes, but if she was - Well done, ma’am. You nailed it.

Pulling ideas from films like Hereditary and Paranormal Activity, "Mind, Body & Spirit" is a neat and compelling set-up that unfortunate pulls it's punches a little too much when it's finally given the opportunity to really wow the audience. Not bad but not great, a decent enough horror film that doesn't quite make use of everything at it's disposal... 6.2/10.

A fresh found footage horror that capitalizes on the satire influencer & social media culture we're familiar with today. The performances perfectly capture how overbearing wellness culture has been commodified, and that we'll go through sinister lengths to become a better of ourselves--perhaps another person entirely.
