I really fun, satisfying, nail-biting sequel to the show. Jack's and Phryne's relationship is explored further, the costumes take on a new and exciting scene, and the adventure is filled to the brim. All I can hope for is more!

You probably have to be a Miss Fisher fan to really enjoy this, but for the fans it is like gold to have the characters back on screen. And for those who never watched the TV series, put down your computers and go and bing watch what you missed! The period costumes are astoundingly good and leave you surreptitiously searching out 1920's fashions in charity shops.

We finally got around to watching this film. We enjoyed the television series and had high hopes for the movie. We were not disappointed, a fun romp through the desert and over to England and back again. We were hoping for some more Aussie time and the crew there, but we were quite happy with it.

I loved the Miss Fisher Murder Mysteries series, which was clever and witty and lots of fun. But this movie had to mess up a murder mystery with trying to be an episode of Indiana Jones, and not a good one. Leave saving the world to Indy, and let Miss Fisher keep to solving straight forward murders with no other worldly forces and superstitions thrown in!
