throw b it pains me to rate it this low the molly moon book series was my and still is my favorite book series of all time however the movie didn't match it at all they took away some important characters and added useless ones that never existed molly never learned anything and they added so many pointless scenes that were not in the book why did they change so many things it's practically not the same book what a let down i was so mad watching the trailer and then I watch the movie and I wanted to cry I wanted to watch this with my family so they could understand why I love the books but this movie made me cringe so hard I will make sure my family never sees this the movie could have been good if it was not associated with the book however the movie was almost set up to fail because nothing can be as great a the books. I should never have got my hopes up. Also the way they changed things in the movie from the book makes it so there could never even be a second movie. It's just so sad. Also why does molly's agent sing why does he sing ugg worst part of the movie the guy obviously wanted more screen time by changing the book to glorify himself absolutely horrible I respect his singing but don't change things for yourself Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/27/24 Full Review StephenPaul C The greatest 01 hour: and 38 minutes ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/04/23 Full Review Audience Member I thought this is a great kids movie, fast moving with a little bit of magic, not going to win any oscars but a real easy watch with a good message. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Really fun feel good movie with some funny bits for grown ups too! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Nothing like the book so bad I could puke. All the surprises and plot twists taken out. In addition, it is completely inaccurate. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member A quick way to be famous does not go well. It was based on the children's novel of the same name. Purely a children's film. That's why I find it average. The concept was too silly. Particularly, there are a few scenes that do not make sense to the grownups. Even for hypnotism concept they used in the story. So don't accuse it if you did not enjoy it. Other than that, the direction, actors, settings, musics were nice. This is the story of orphan kids. In the rural England, no one has adopted them yet. Like orphanage kids from other films, this tale was too built with their struggles against the odds. Their caretakers are not so nice to them, especially the chief in charge. The kids too have divided and one of the gang decides to participate in a talent show. When that fails, drastically everything changes since then. In meantime a mystery book lands in one of their hands. With the help of it, an undreamt adventure begins. It should have been a television film. Not because the production quality is poor or something, but the story, how it was narrated fits perfectly for small screen. Otherwise, a series would have been a nice idea. A fictional story, and took place at the corner of the Christmas, as well as released on the same season a couple of year ago. I don't think the second film would make it. But possible as a television feature. Not worth, but watching it with kids could do justice. 5/10 Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
