01/15/2013 The flow of the movie was almost like a debate. They switched sides back and forth as if the sides were answering each other, but with flashes of video games and opinions of them stuck in the middle. http://trust-the-dice.blogspot.com/2012/07/moral-kombat-2008.html See more 05/21/2011 It was overall pretty boring despite the interesting subject matter. See more 02/13/2011 #44 - Decent but needed more opinions, not enough from the anti-game side of things. See more 08/27/2010 Moral Kombat is a feature-length documentary about the violence in video games issue. Negative reviews seem to stem exclusively from those who haven't taken the time to watch the entire film, or don't bother to watch past the trailer for that matter, before judging it. The director does an outstanding job at balancing the debate and getting compelling info out of interviewees - many of whom seem to be experts in the field. Given the upcoming Supreme Court case about this same issue, the documentary is timely and very informative. The graphic presentation will either strike viewers as essential and additive, or annoying and distracting, but given the nature of the subject matter it seems to me to be entirely relevant. Whether you're a parent looking to learn more about the debate, or a gamer who's open-minded enough to learn more about the opposing view points, this is a documentary not to miss. And with it available on just about every major digital distribution platform (Hulu, Netflix, iTunes, etc.) it couldn't be more convenient. Highly recommended. See more Read all reviews
