Steve Davis Austin Chronicle Rated: 2.5/5 Jan 1, 2000 Full Review Roger Ebert Chicago Sun-Times Why did I like it? Maybe because style is as important as story in a movie like this, and Mr. Baseball is not without a certain flair. Rated: 3/4 Jan 1, 2000 Full Review Grant Watson Fiction Machine Truth be told, Mr Baseball is a fairly rough watch. Rated: 3/10 Apr 8, 2023 Full Review Brian Costello Common Sense Media Best for baseball fans; anyone else is unlikely to find this dated tale very engaging. Rated: 2/5 May 5, 2021 Full Review Malcolm Johnson Hartford Courant As a movie star, Selleck steps up to the plate again and again, swings and misses. Mr. Baseball could be his clumsiest strikeout yet. May 14, 2018 Full Review Chuck O'Leary Fantastica Daily Rated: 2/5 Sep 27, 2005 Full Review Read all reviews

urban. d Probably a bit silly and contrived, but I love the humour and Tom Selleck is great. It's a guilty favourite of mine. 4/5. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/25/24 Full Review alan g A reasonable comedy about an arrogant american baseball player trying to resurrect his carrer in japan. Succeeds on most levels. Interesting to watch. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 05/15/24 Full Review Bryan B More about being a fish out of water than a baseball movie. Funny movie either way. Worth a look.
