Colleagues Loretta, Danny, Amy and Gerry are on the verge of an amazing breakthrough in quantum physics when tragedy strikes. Racing to complete the experiment, Loretta dies in a fiery car accident. Five months later, as the trio struggle to move on with their lives and the work they'd started, Loretta returns. She's full of energy, enthusiasm, seemingly unaware she's been gone for months. Are the friends losing their collective minds or has something remarkable happened? Soon, each of them comes face to face with their dead ringer. Professional rivalries and personal relationships surface and the friends realize only one version of them can exist in our reality. A violent correction is necessary to maintain order.

Jeffrey M. Anderson Common Sense Media Quickly jettisoning its cosmic setup for a YA-style romance/murder/tragedy with soap opera-style emoting, this sci-fi dud hangs everything on its thin characters and even thinner storytelling. Rated: 2/5 Nov 20, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews

Vaughan P The trailer was promising but I suspect that is where the bulk of the efforts (and budget) went in this underwhelming and overacted wet toilet paper of a movie. It's a definite “tell” that the director has run out of ideas when they start to use those weird angled camera shots (popular in the campy Batman tv shows from the 70’s but amateurish in 2025) to try and add some visual friction to some decidedly droll storytelling and sure enough, about 30 minutes in, we see the results of the drunken cameraman titling sideways to try and brighten up one unfortunately acted scene after another. The writing was not completely terrible and the sciencey style words were earcandy-esque enough to make it interesting at times, but just when you thought the movie might make some headway towards the promise of the trailer, awkward acting, coupled with listless directorial decisions, conspired time and time again to offend your sensibilities and give your expectations of a good movie a nasty viewers rash. The plot COULD have been the lipstick on a pretty pig but it was all ultimately just a pimple under makeup that exploded under the weight if it's failings leaving us to wipe away the gooey discharge to see what was underneath and this pimple was not worth the squeeze. Enjoy the trailer. Lose the movie. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/30/25 Full Review James B I thought it was a bit tedious until the true premise of the multiverse theme hit home. A bit late in the movie and handled a tad clumsily but it stimulated the thought processes enough to make it satisfying. The actors were struggling but the actresses held up to the task and made it enjoyable for this viewer. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/27/25 Full Review Colin W I wish I had read some of the reviews beforehand. I would have save myself an hour and nine minutes. At that point I stopped the movie. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 04/11/25 Full Review Jonathan B Completely amateur hour. As a professional filmmaker myself, I don’t like to be mean, but the acting is high school play level and the dialogue is even worse. It’s just unwatchable. I hope Hulu didn’t pay for the licensing rights on this stinker. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/29/25 Full Review Simon V I usually really enjoy this style and theme of movie and it didn't disappoint. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/28/24 Full Review Joe W Weak plot. Acting is just too poor. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/04/24 Full Review Read all reviews
