Dennis Schwartz Dennis Schwartz Movie Reviews Predictable and slow moving chiller. Rated: C+ Feb 8, 2016 Full Review Paul Chambers Movie Chambers These Mummy films are getting progressively worse. Ten to fifteen minutes of earlier Mummy films are used in this dog. Rated: D- Oct 26, 2014 Full Review Tim Brayton Antagony & Ecstasy Just isn't that much fun, even when it is enjoyably weird. Joel H I don't think the people who made The Mummy's Curse understood how to make a sequel. I'm not even sure they watched the previous movies in the Kharis series. Not only do they do another unnecessary time jump, but then they also, for some reason, switch the location from Mapleton, Massachusetts to somewhere in a southern bayou. Plus, they use clips from the previous movies and really long waking & walking scenes to pad the runtime of this 63-minute feature while treading along the exact same path we've seen three times before. It's like they weren't even trying to make a good horror film anymore. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 11/05/23 Full Review Valerii Ege D It's literally the same movie as The Mummy's Ghost. Not less not much. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 09/18/23 Full Review Steve D One of the worst and dumbest horror films ever made. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/08/23 Full Review Liam D Probably the best movie in the Lon Chaney trilogy but it's still a bad B movie with lazy use of stock footage, cheap makeup, forgettable writing and cheesy acting Rated 2 out of 5 stars 08/13/22 Full Review Audience Member Just more Mummy junk. It's become a little too predictable and a little too dull for my tastes. But if you enjoyed the last couple, it's a fitting close. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 12/19/21 Full Review andrew k The official conclusion of the Kharis story, which had dominated all but the first film in Universal's Mummy franchise. On the same level as the previous films. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews
