Jason Shawhan Nashville Scene This is a film so surreal, messy, confusing and cobbled together with the tendons of joggers in hell that to speak of it is to go mad. Jarrod R Do you remember Steven Spielberg's classic story of an alien creature who interacts with a lonely kid who just needs a friend? This is like that, if you take out the joy, sense of awe, and all the heart - and heap on alllll the campy over the top schlock of a low budget movie. Is it "so bad it's good?" Yeah, I laughed quite a bit at some of the ridiculous situations that were super problematic for a movie aimed at kids. I'm not sure how they managed to get Loni Anderson and Dom DeLuise for this, but would have loved to have been a fly on the wall when those negotiations were going on. All in all, it deserves a spot in the, "what did I just experience?" list of movies. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/24 Full Review Yeet M Hilarious definitely so bad it's good Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/09/22 Full Review John R What demented hellscape of a nightmare did they pull this idea from? More Jennifer Love Hewitt, less of everything else, except maybe another good-natured hijacking by a wacky professor and his demonic gremlin sidekick. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 05/30/22 Full Review Audience Member Horrible acting, horrible editing, horrible effects, horrible writing. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member Pretty awful, but a big step up from the original. There's some fun to be had with all the kid's daydreams, even if the gimmick is done better in other films. It's another one that's strictly for the kids, but how can you not get at least a little kick seeing Dom Delouise run around voicing a mischievous imp in a leather jacket. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 12/15/18 Full Review Audience Member Potential elements that are soo bad they are enjoyable. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Read all reviews
