Gremlins came out in 1984 and Munchies came out in 1987 . The Munchies even drive around in a very ugly yellow Gremlin Car and why is the Marching Band dress up like Native Americans ? It's a ripoff of the highest order, and it wouldn't be soo bad if it wasn't soo damn cheap looking. It's strictly kiddie fare, though it may only have worked for 80s kids, not sure, as it's basically just a live action 80s cartoon. This is to Gremlins, what Mac and Me is to ET. Shame on you Shout Factory for charging as much as you do for this cheap package... I didn't realize it at 1st but when I was a kid I remember Munchies being 1 of my favorite movies (I use to LOVE Munchies) The kids in school were all talking about it & everything.Watching it recently I can't understand what made me like it so much.I understand why kids today might like it so I guess I see what made me like it at the time.Munchies is a SUPER cheesy movie.If you're a little kid you might enjoy it or if you're somebody that has kids, You might not enjoy it but they probably will Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
