Filmed in Canada and the Punjab region of India. Based on a true story." A modern day Romeo and Juliet, that started out kinda weak but then fully sucked me in especially since the story is still in the news here in Vancouver. It has a 'Lifetime movie' feel to it but I believe its a CBC production. Good performances (despite some questionable fake beards) The father is traditional to a fault and you really hate him. 6.13 See more 06/08/2010 So since Slumdog Millionaire I suddenly had a passion for Bollywood/ Indie movies.
