Stephen H @Steve6308 Dec 12 While not a bad film, this is NOT based on truth. Even the opening title was wrong. It wasn't just USA's invasion of France, it was also the Canadians, British, Free French and others involved. In the All American airborne there were no Black soldiers, the US had a segregated army at the time. So many other historical inaccuracies too. As a film it's good, as for teaching about this mythical Company, it's all bs. If anything, the British SAS/SRS were dropped into France a day before. Everything there is so bad, that I hadwatch it twice to believe someone actually produce something so horrible. Everything is absolutely horrible.
