Judy Berman Tiny Mix Tapes Most of the shorts suffer from similarly hackneyed story lines, with all action leading up to a pat resolution. Rated: 2/5 Dec 6, 2018 Full Review David Zuckerman Film Comment Magazine At its best, it might be said that such a cinematic cacophony approximates the noise of Manhattan itself; but so much seems to be overlapping in this film that a feeling of distraction threatens to dispel the emotion Nov 17, 2013 Full Review Joshua Rothkopf Time Out Rated: 2/5 Nov 17, 2011 Full Review James McMahon NME (New Musical Express) Do you want to be loved? thiago s Filme bacaninha, o roteiro é bacana, o elenco até que é bacana, o filme meio que se baseia em curtas metragens de romance, alguns sao bons, mas a maioria é ruim, alguns atores são bons e outros não, teve um curta que é meio sem sentido ethan hawke conversa com uma chinesa, dando em cima dela, mas ela diz que é casado, mesmo assim dizendo isso eles continuaram a conversa e no final a chinesa disse que ela era prostituta meio sem sentido. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 11/04/24 Full Review Chinu D Its a really good movie. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/14/24 Full Review Blu B An awful anthology that goes nowhere. This never is able to take all these stories/characters and make it into one cohesive narrative or message. It just feels random and pointless with some common themes of romance at different stages of life. The music is boring and forgettable. The acting/cinematography is subpar and the editing/pacing is bad. This jumps around constantly and most of the time never even follows up with these stories once were done. None of the characters are that likeable, the dialouge is convuluted or clunky throughout, and the chemistry between everyone is at best passable or at worst I don't even know. Some scenes like Shia's I truly have no idea what the heck is happening. It just doesn't add up to anything and the characters don't ever come together in the end at all. None of the scenes are that particulary memorable or that well shot either. Skip This. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/31/24 Full Review Audience Member I personally am not a huge fan of vignette movies but this one was done quite well 2.7 Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 05/31/22 Full Review colin m Enjoyable random separately-written stories across the spectrum of New York. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review steve d Nowhere near good enough to justify this cast but has it's moments. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews
