Audience Member If you want a lot of close ups of a big-eyed girl who can't act her way out of a paper bag, Nola is the movie for you. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/02/18 Full Review Audience Member Emmy Rossum is her usual, adorable self. But otherwise, the rest of this low budgeter is a roller coaster mix of sweet, then ridiculous, nice, then atrocious. Back-and-forth, with some terrible acting. But Rossum salvages this one slightly. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member If I didn't know any better, I'd say this was some kind of film that would have been shown on HBO in the 80's, except with a PG rating. It even has the look of a film whose original widescreen aspect ratio has been compressed into an Academy ratio. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Horrible dialogue, horribly drawn caricatures, poor acting. Unfinishably bad, sedated TV movie at best. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie is half corny and half wonderful. I never would have given it a chance if it weren't for Rossum. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member One full star for the awful goat singing done by Emmy Rossum, and another half off for a quick and haste beginning. As a singer the goating just really pissed me off along with operatic pronunciation and placements. Story is good acting is good plot is ok.
