      ashley h Numbered Men is an okay film. It is about prison inmates who play cards, eat cookies, listen to the radio and start a riot. Bernice Claire and Conrad Nagel give decent performances. The screenplay is a little slow in places. Mervyn LeRoy did an alright job directing this movie. I liked this motion picture because of the drama.
