spencer p Instructive, useful, and daringly revealing, this film by filmmakers who were promoting another film of theirs at the same time is an eye-opening romp through an unexpectedly heated environment that is at the heart of amateur filmmakers everywhere. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Great film nerd movie about what its like to get a film into a festival. It features one of the most uncomfortable real moments in any doc. Lots of these filmmakers complaints are BS cause there so emotionally attached to there work. Its gotta be even harder to get this movie into a festival ironically. side note: would it kill any of these filmmakers to wear a shirt with a collar? Try and look somewhat professional. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member A documentary following the highs and lows of the film festival circuit. It is very informative and to the point. The documentarian does a very good job, but it is apparent that he tries to mimic the personality and style of Morgan Spurlock, which is occasionally distracting. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member Although the subject film is poor, this is eye opening and truly terrifying. A must see for all film makers. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member Pretty informative for someone like me, a first hand experience on what it's like to be an indie filmmaker, working the festival circuits, though it doesn't go too deep and the info is lacking, it's still an eye opener for lots of begining filmmakers. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member An honest and blunt look into the world of film festivals. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Read all reviews
