Richard Neville Sydney Morning Herald Although One Spy Too Many is a slick and imaginative production, it is nothing more than a celluloid comic strip. Aug 19, 2015 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member Completely daft U.N.C.L.E. adventure about a megalomaniac (a surprisingly bland Rip Torn) breaking the Ten Commandments in order to become 'Alexander the Great'. Redeemed by tongue-in-cheek performances from Robert Vaughn and Dorothy Provine, and zippy no-budget direction by Joseph Sargent, who went on to helm the brilliant 'Taking of Pelham 123'. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member The one where the cushion saves the world!! Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Another chance to join our favourite U.N.C.L.E.s. Also known as "The Alexander the Greater Affair" parts one and two, this sees meglomaniac business man Alexander (Rip Torn) steal a top secret nerve gas from the US Army - not only that but he's also breaking each one of the ten commandments on his path to world domination. However he hasn't reckoned on Illya Kuryakin (David McCallum) and Napolean Solo (Robert Vaughn) and perhaps worst of all, his ex-wife (Dorothy Provine). As always this was originally a two-part TV show, shorn of various titles and recombined with additonal footage, it's a stylish adn fun way to spend 90 minutes. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Cult classic, excellent musical score by Gerald Fried is a standout here. Seen the original episodes but not this cut, so it would be unfair to attempt to rate it until then, but I am familiar with the musical score as mentioned above, which was part of a 2 CD set put out by Turner Classic Movies Silver Age Classics (FSM Vol5N0.18).
