Mike Hale New York Times Casting is the key here, and Ms. Finzi chose wisely. Rated: 3/5 Jul 2, 2010 Full Review V.A. Musetto New York Post Finzi's lovingly filmed movie draws viewers into the lives of its two young heroes. You don't have to be a ballet buff to be moved by Isabela's and Irlan's stories. Audience Member Great documentary! Very moving! Worth watching. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member I really wanted to like this, and the characters are endearing. As far as documentaries go, though, it's not very well done. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Beautiful story...just like Billy Elliot but with Billy Elliot more emotions were involved. Enjoyable however. Dance truly changes lives and I'm happy for this young man. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member A very passionate film/documentary, about some very talented and hard-working young people, working for their dream, working for their way out of poverty and bad side of town.... They can dance, and it's wonderful to see all these children come to life when they dance and see how they bring joy and smile to others as well.
