Naila Scargill Exquisite Terror Quite possibly one of the most lacklustre attempts at a zombie film ever made, Osombie is simply excruciating. Feb 28, 2019 Full Review John Beifuss Commercial Appeal (Memphis, TN) Poor undead Osama bin Laden and his "zombie insurgents": When you're expecting 72 virgins after death, it must be especially frustrating to be gifted instead with reanimated rotting flesh and a taste for human meat. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/15/23 Full Review Sephiroth Hornet This is the greatest cinematic masterpiece to ever grace humanity. There has never been a movie that has reached this level of perfection. No words can describe the experience, you must see it for yourself. 10/10 may John Lyde be guided to Jannah inshallah. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/13/23 Full Review Shahzabe A Yea, the movie is just blatantly racist, but aside from that, holy shit is the movie just horrible. What is the plot? IDK, we couldn't figure it out. Osombie didn't even show up until the last 5 minutes. Just save yourself the 90 minutes and do literally anything else. Go watch Spirit Halloween, at least you can enjoy that. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 11/02/22 Full Review Audience Member For a film with such a ridiculous concept as Zombie Bin Laden and His Undead Insurgents, Osombie plays everything out with a pretty straight face. I give them credit for that even for a low budget zombie film. But it still doesn't find anyway to stand out from the veritable cornucopia of low-budget zombie flicks out there on DVD. As a band of soldiers wander the deserts of Afghanistan fighting off waves of flesh hungry ghouls for, some reason, they come across a young woman who is looking for her brother. Her brother, a conspiracy theorist, is looking for zombie Bin Laden and right there is where the story just stops. Cue an hour and a half of walking, shooting zombies and then more walking before they reach their objective. Of course there's character banter in-between all this walking, however, though interactions between the characters is the film's strongest suit. There's actual drama between them which makes the film a little more watchable than just having characters bicker for no reason what-so-ever aside from being caricatures taken from other zombie films. But aside from that there are just too many ridiculous moments to give this film high praise, other than Zombie Bin Laden wants to turn the western infidels into his army of the living dead.
