      Reviews Young Jeff Blaine (Joseph Stafford) is being raised by his Aunt Ruth (Ellen Drew) because his absentee father, Nate (Dane Clark), is an outlaw. When Nate suddenly shows up, hoping to get custody of Jeff, Ruth opposes the idea, and forces Nate to flee by framing him for a robbery. Years later, the adult Jeff (Ben Cooper), who never forgave Ruth for her deception, begins to search for his fugitive father, and becomes an outlaw himself when he engages in an ill-advised stagecoach robbery.       Audience Member Run of the mill Saturday matinee stuff. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member 140504: A decent black & white that I would consider purchasing for my western collection. Won't seek it out but will pick it up if I bump into it. Tough story that successfully conveys multiple moral messages. Found this film quite deep with some sad commentary on human nature. Life can be tough and, as reflected in this film, we can make matters worse with judgmental, moral superiority. Some of the relationships portrayed in the film could result in long conversations.
