Pari is technically competent, and Prosit Roy receives production support in plenty. The costumes, hair and make -up, and background music being noteworthy....but themes of good versus evil and love limits this film's appeal to the loyal viewer.

Pari is the kind of horror that gags and chokes you with an incipient dread. But only up to a point...Roy makes it all too literal, with a righteous take on pregnancy and abortion. In an effort to find neat closure, the director spins a clumsy climax.

Good movie and a great performance by Anushka Sharma. Not really a horror movie but more of a love story (The confusion probably explains the negative reviews). Worth a watch and a fresh idea which is rare in Bollywood.

Prosit Roy's Pari is an absolutely stunning horror film with compelling frames and directorial competence ushered aplenty, and delivers because of Anushka Dharma's wonderful performance that makes the screen crawl. The visuals have an interesting buildup to stay with you, and the proceedings are thoroughly enjoyable.
