Somehow I just still couldn't get the French sense of humor all the time. Though, it is a delighting piece to watch. It's Claire/Mélina's story and Viard is compelling in the role. Piaud avoids the clichés of genre in both plot and direction to produce a movie that captures the reality of life; funny, sad, tragic, disappointing, difficult, but ultimately liveable. For me, very moving and worthwhile. Some won't get it at all.
