Audience Member Paranoid sci-fi pablum in the vein of SOYLENT GREEN that goes to show you don't need a huge budget to make a movie with interesting ideas, but you still need a competent script. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Low budget movie hampered by its 1970s look, but its core premise is disturbing, hard sci-fi. It doesn't quite pull it off, but comes damn close. Micheal Bay directly ripped off the story for his film The Island (2005), but forgot to pay for it. Oops. The court found in favor of the producers of Clonus and Micheal had to pay up. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review delysid d a bunch of people learn that they are clones made for spare parts. im surprised at the low rating of the film, i found it to be pretty good for a 70s sci fi movie Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/17/17 Full Review Audience Member A interesting premise, with utterly poor execution. The characters are slow and dull, with the dialog barely passing to tell what's going on. There are some decent moments, some quick thrills, but a fairly bland ending. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member A movie about clones. Great idea, terribly done. I guess The Island is supposed to have ripped off this movie to the nth degree (though I haven't seen it). A presidential candidate is deep in with the clone company and, yeah, poop. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member The Clonus Horror (or Parts: The Clonus Horror, as I know it) seems like it has some sort of potential to be something interesting and compelling. Unfortunately, it just seems to have been wasted on poor talent both in front and behind the camera. I liked how dark it was, but it just gets silly at times. Thank goodness for the masters in the Mystery Science Theater 3000 crew. They made this much more enjoyable than it ever could have been on its own. That's about it really. Not much more to say than that. Comment lacking. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
