Every spring, the Babadi tribe of Southern Iran undertakes a grueling journey across the Zagros mountains and valleys to find new pastures and ensure the survival of its flock of sheep. In director Anthony Howarth's chronicle of this trek, the Babadi are led by Jafar Qoli, who is accompanied by his wife, his children and his shepherds. Along the way, the tribe must face challenges such as rains and perilous mountain terrain, while also performing weddings and mediating personal conflicts.
