Appears to be a giallo, at first, but paranoia and unusual instances mount, giving the film more of a "Rosemary's Baby" sort of feel. Eventually, things get even more bizarre. What is amazing that all of the weirdness and seeming disconnected events come together to make sense in the end, even if that ending will leave you with your mouth agape (in a good way). Le film ne suit aucun réel développement et se perd souvent dans des phases mystiques inintéressantes au possible. Le côté désuet de l'affaire lui sauverait souvent la mise si seulement le spectateur avait la moindre idée de ce qu'il se déroule à l'écran. Il n'empêche que Jean-Noël Brouté, Bruno Podalydès et Zabou Breitman sont excellents et méritent à eux seuls qu'on s'attarde un peu sur cette oeuvre oubliable, mais soignée et sporadiquement divertissante.
