Much of the terror resides in Radhika Apte's eyes...Phobia is relentlessly scary. It's as though you are living within the mind of Mehak, her unending claustrophobia and suffocation become your own.

It is a grotesque, complex film because you can’t always make out what’s in the character’s head and what’s actually happening; and it leaves you only with questions, no answers.

Watching a horror film that has no chudail, no exorcist, no graveyards and no ugly make-up is almost like a breath of fresh air. Finally some can scare people without using the quintessential paranormal props.
