Anant Mahadevan's Phule is a very well made biopic avoiding the usual melodrama troupes. The movie not only makes strong political statements through its crisp dialogues it also scores as a relationship drama. The mutual respect and love which Jyothiba and Savitri have each other is rare to find in couples whether its of past or present. My full review of the movie available in rigoberthareviews.com
