Jack Fleischer Battleship Pretension There are unanswered questions that mess with the logic of the plot and the situation, but it feels as if the real problem with this film is that we never see "Man" as anything but confused. Mar 22, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews

Mark S I love indie sci-fi and I saw this at Sci-Fi London Film Festival. Original and entertaining, it challenges the viewer and makes you rethink the whole movie once it's over. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/24 Full Review Audience Member Terrible ! Just terrible ! There was no good plot , no twists , nothing. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 10/11/21 Full Review corkball There is a decent sci-fi story here. One that is not too predictable, but you can see enough of it coming that it makes sense. On the down side, the production quality is so-so, supporting cast is not particularly memorable, and the lead actor comes off more as a creepy serial killer than a man with amnesia. I was expecting him to kill someone at any point. There were also some minor logic gaps that I might have missed, like why they went though all that effort to take him to the desert, or left the note in his pocket, or left video evidence lying around. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member You know it's a brain-twister, but you have no idea how strangely it twists. Rudolf Martin gives a strong turn in this oddly familiar yet somehow unique film. The root of this film would seem to spring from Christopher Nolan's "Memento" but it has something very different in mind. This movie was actually released in 2011. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Pig is an excellent, well-crafted film and has been playing the festival circuit for awhile. Many critics compare it to Memento, but while both are great films that deal with amnesia, there are more differences than similarities. Memento is a puzzle-box of a film, and while Pig presents a compelling mystery, the presentation is more straightforward. Memento takes memory and how it influences our perception of reality as its major theme. Pig, on the other hand, is about identity, and how our memories affect how we perceive ourselves. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member I expected more out of Pig. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Read all reviews
