      German-born Rudolf Martin has had a successful career as a supporting actor in several high-profile films and TV shows. Born in West Berlin, Martin came to the United States after graduating from the University of Paris. He studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute and appeared in the Susan Seidelman short "The Dutch Master," which was nominated for an Oscar in 1994. He earned a regular role on the soap "All My Children" in 1994 and at the end of the decade played the Russian Nicky Krasnakov in the TV industry comedy "Beggars and Choosers" for two seasons. He twice played Dracula in 2000, first in the fantasy show "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," then in the historical made-for-TV feature "Dark Prince: The True Story of Dracula." He appeared as two different characters in the action show "24" and had a supporting role in the star-studded thriller "Swordfish." In the 2000s he guest-starred as an international agent in "NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Services," had a recurring role on the dark comedy "Dexter," and appeared in a 2008 episode of the period drama "Mad Men."
