Wyatt P Awful. Absolute joke. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/19/24 Full Review Calum M So bad it was almost good... Rated 2 out of 5 stars 11/22/23 Full Review mike a Unfortunately, I confused this movie with the HBO movie, Dune. I am hard-pressed to think of a worse movie I have seen in my lifetime. Or maybe more accurately one of the worst movies by a director or by screenwriters and actors made in my lifetime. I also cannot believe that whoever has the rights to the Dune novels allowed this travesty to be made. Where should I start? Other than large sandworms and desert, this movie has little else to do with the Dune universe. The credibility of the plot? Who in their right mind builds an immensely complicated space station close enough to an asteroid belt that within seconds of the ship being launched it is dodging asteroids? It's also obvious that the director and the screenwriters just do not know much or simply do not care about how the military operates. The commanding officer of the space station alternates from being a Captain Queeg to being Mother Theresa, all in one day. The planet alternates between having enough oxygen for the soldiers to not have to wear oxygen breathing apparatuses to needing oxygen because the planet suddenly does not have enough but someone has luckily brought on a small cylinder to share with one other person while everyone else seems to be breathing fine. Then on this intensely hot planet, the actors take off their shirts because it is so hot when the more immediate danger is extreme sunburn. Or an actor is injured and needs help moving until they do not and can run like mad. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review rob l Think every bad space movie you've ever seen, this time with pathologically compassionate women, and dollar store tremor movie worms.
