Audience Member If there is some sort of deep meaning to this film, it completely escapes me, and I was too bored to try and figure it out. Ted Danson's flamboyant portrayal failed to convince, Mary Steenburgen is good, but her character in the film is so annoying. Just plaid dumb. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member a story inspired by Neil Armstrong's quote, <i>"that one step of man, one giant leap of mankind." </i> But one does not need to step on the moon to understand what it means. Pontiac Moon tells the story of a dysfunctional family, an irresponsible father who never listens to anybody, a mother who's crippled with fear caused by an accident, and a child who hasn't known how to enjoy life around him ---- and that crazy trip to the Spires of the Moon that's both eventful and momentous as they learn a lesson or two from each other. I like introspective films. And this one will surely go to my list of favorites. The characters are so well-played, especially that of Andy (Ryan Todd). He played his character with such depth and sincerity that I find very touching. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member This is my all time favorite movie. Watch it! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member this is a good inspiring sunday afternoon flick Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Family triumphs over all in this heartrending dramedy Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member Quite simply one of the greatest movies of all time. Ted Danson plays some kind of teacher, or maybe that's his wife, but either way he ends up trying to drive a kid to the moon in a pontiac whilst his real life wife battles with agoraphobia and crosses the floor towards a door for some kind of metaphorical reason. The trailer for this had me screaming literally for 9 years. Check it out on youtube. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Read all reviews
