The anthology story follows three of the fiercest warriors in human history: a Viking raider guiding her young son on a bloody quest for revenge, a ninja in feudal Japan who turns against his Samurai brother in a brutal battle for succession, and a WWII pilot who takes to the sky to investigate an otherworldly threat to the Allied cause. Thank the lord for blessing us with the greatest anthology movie of all time, it’s prey but extended to three stories and it’s adult animation, my favorite story was “the bullet” because it relates a lot to me with being rejected by people and being told what to do, and in a situation where a predator is trying to shoot me down I be like boom boom pow! On that ship, it’s a great movie go watch it.

Como fã da franquia Predador, esperava uma obra que respeitasse a essência do caçador Yautja: estratégico, inteligente, furtivo e guiado por um código de honra. Infelizmente, essa animação se afasta demais da identidade que tornou o Predador um ícone. O maior problema é a descaracterização completa do comportamento do Predador. Em vez de agir como um caçador meticuloso que observa, analisa e separa suas presas, ele é retratado como um ser impulsivo e pouco inteligente, o que compromete totalmente a imponência da criatura. Outro ponto incômodo é a falta de lógica interna. Elementos básicos como biologia, comportamento de caça, tecnologia Yautja e até noções físicas do ambiente são ignorados para favorecer cenas visualmente exageradas — o que tira toda a credibilidade da narrativa. A escala dos personagens também destoa do material original, com Predadores retratados de forma desproporcional, prejudicando a coerência visual e a sensação de realismo. No geral, a obra entrega boa animação e visual interessante, mas erra justamente onde não poderia errar: no respeito ao lore. Para quem conhece a franquia e entende o que realmente define o Predador, esta animação pode ser uma grande decepção.
