In this fictional reality TV satire, the show's contestants are entirely unaware that they're participating in a televised game show. Production staff sneak into the homes of ordinary people so the smarmy, pseudo-intellectual host (Don McKellar) can muse on their shortcomings, with a cash prize going to the one judged the most pathetic. Current contestants include alienated teen Terry (Nadia Litz), lonely agoraphobe Peter (Mike Beaver) and middle-aged single mother Bonnie (Nicole de Boer).

Ed Gonzalez Slant Magazine Lefcoe's practically unwatchable film is ostensibly a critique of reality-based programming, but its muddled intent and miscalculated presentation gets at nothing. Rated: 1.5/4 May 7, 2006 Full Review Peter Howell Toronto Star A movie that attempts to mock reality TV as if the fad hadn't already disintegrated into farce -- and as if The Truman Show, EDtv, Series 7: The Contenders and others never happened. Rated: 2/5 May 14, 2004 Full Review Stephen Cole Globe and Mail Other than McKellar's bright cameo, the remaining players seem trapped in a mean, deadening satire. Rated: 3.5/5 May 14, 2004 Full Review Jason Anderson eye WEEKLY While not as insidious in its evisceration of TV's peeping-tom culture as My Little Eye, Lefcoe's satire still draws blood. Rated: 3/5 Apr 17, 2004 Full Review Rory L. Aronsky Film Threat Lefcoe, throughout the 77 minutes, makes an excellent point as to where reality TV might be heading.
