Audience Member Broken Lizard presents their first film in Puddle Cruiser. Each of the Broken Lizard members is a character at a small college. Each on of the characters is involved in their own crises ranging from relationship problems to possibly being expelled for stealing food. Puddle cruiser is not too funny and not really recommended unless you are a completionist for the comedy troupe. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Turned it off after 40 minutes, just awful. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Broken Lizard's first movie, not even close to the rest. Club Dredd is better than this... Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member Puddle Cruiser is Broken Lizard's first foray in to the film world, and though it would be many years until they brought us their masterpiece "Super Troopers", Puddle Cruiser is still an interesting watch. It has less comedic value than any of their films to follow, and it is only in the characters of Matt and Grogan that you can see the trademark stoner humour that Broken Lizard would come to represent. Puddle Cruiser is more of your typical 90's "teen movie" a little bit of comedy, a little bit of romance, some coming of age themes and someone gets beaten up. That formula runs through the film and it works, it just doesn't work spectacularly. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Not a complete train derailment that I thought it was going to be. That being said it is hard to believe the people who brought us Super Troopers and Beerfest started out on a movie like this. Not much for laughter and the acting was mediocre at best. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member It's low-budget charms make it better than anything the Broken Lizard boys have done since *shudder* The Babymakers.
