Witty, warm, and unconventional, Pulp makes up in overall entertainment what it lacks in depth.

Audience Member A bit lifeless unfortunately. Didn’t go into enough detail about the band to warrant making this movie a documentary, would have worked better as a true concert movie. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member I didn't pay too much attention to it,I thought it was nice,an okay doc for fans only...but i'm giving it 4 stars just because I love Pulp. the end. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member Great. Uplifting and sweet, Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Lots of shockingly ugly people in this documentary--makes me want to go to Sheffield. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member An interesting look at a very normal bunch of people who are part of an iconic band. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member good interesting doc Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Judy Berman Flavorwire Whatever the reason, this truly is a film about life, death, and supermarkets, which means it's a far better film about Pulp than any mere record of their final concert would have been. Sep 21, 2017 Full Review Mark Jenkins NPR The abbreviated history may mystify people who don't already know the basics. But the film does offer a vivid portrait of Cocker - wit, unlikely casanova and quite possibly hypochondriac - and an intriguing if glancing one of Doyle. Nov 20, 2014 Full Review Laura M. Browning AV Club Habicht never dives too deeply or casts his net too widely, but as a filmic love letter to Sheffield, the resulting doc is full of small delights for serious Pulp fans. Rated: B- Nov 19, 2014 Full Review Graeme Tuckett Stuff.co.nz It's one of the better concert movies you'll ever see, but also much more than that, as Habicht paints a picture of a city and its inhabitants, not all of whom care about the band at all. Apr 5, 2021 Full Review Bill Chambers Film Freak Central While the democracy of it casts a sweet spell and speaks to Pulp's generosity and humility, one wonders if even in this era of selfie culture Pulp fans will want to see this much of themselves on screen Rated: 2.5/4 Sep 20, 2015 Full Review Robert Roten Laramie Movie Scope What makes this rock doc a little different is that there are interviews of other people in Sheffield who talk about Sheffield as a city and as a backdrop for Pulp's music. This movie will appeal to Pulp fans and those interested in Sheffield. Rated: C+ Feb 5, 2015 Full Review Read all reviews
