John Cusack (Grosse Pointe Blank) and Emile Hirsch (Into the Wild) star in this action thriller about a tough cop's hunt for an even tougher criminal. Detective Breslin crosses paths with Calloway (Hirsch), a ruthless hacker desperate to find his wife, who has been kidnapped by a drug cartel. When Calloway escapes police custody, Breslin joins forces with a no-nonsense female cop to reclaim his prisoner. Horrible movie. The so-called cop that stars in the movie, (Rick Calloway), is a total punk, a tiny boy that people just walk over and brush aside, he is too afraid to stand up for himself. Kind of destroys the whole concept of the movie. The story line is tough to follow as it is all over the place. There is no hero in this movie just tough to watch scenarios as they are written like Monday morning soap operas. The only character with any personality is the villain.

O how the mighty have Fallen........I think after this debacle of a "Film", Hirsh & Cusack will have to, in the tradition of Nick Cage, appear/act in more, even worse movies, just to pay off their current debt(s) & the like.....or whatever other reason(s) they (unwisely) decide to appear in "Films" of this low-ball caliber. If I wasn't laughing so hard......it might be a bit sad. As it is, we are now truly present & witness to the death knell for the Golden Age of Film.......it's going....going......GONE (with the wind*) (*Remember when there were 5-8 GOOD Films that came out each & every year? These days, we're lucky if we receive 1 to 2....if that................as I said, sad) " Say Goodnight To The Folks, Gracey."
