      Arch I like this movie she was struggling at the beginning and just had a hard life. I thought it was a good movie. The actors, even those in the minor roles, were so believable that it made me wonder whether the main thing that separates the A list from the D list is luck and circumstance. The plot drew me in, and the twist at the end worked. One criticism: One of the issues driving the plot forward was a conflict between two of the actors, and, as a viewer, it was difficult for me to comprehend why they hated each other. The movie did include a few scenes that were intended to build-up a sense of antagonism between them, but it did not work. I just pictured them having lunch together during breaks in the filming. The problem was with the screenplay, not the actors. Still, Rag Dolls was enjoyable from beginning to end. Sometimes the challenge of working on a limited budget brings out the best in directors, actors, and screenwriters.
