See more 07/20/2011 I feel Ram Gopal Verma was on the edge of building a different style for this movie : - I liked the entry scenes of Vivek Oberoi and Bukka Reddy (Abhimanyu) but as the movie progesses it becomes same old revenge with politicians type, that Bollywood has shown ten thounsands of times in past 50 years. See more 12/25/2010 RGV kind of succeeded in portraying a great true story into big screen with fine detailing and adequate amount of conviction. Movie starts off well and builds the tension right away. Thanks to some excellent performances, RGV brings in what he does best - emotions. It's intense and gory. Dialogues and BGM plays a big role in these kind of movies and this one doesn't disappoint too. Dialogues were smartly written, though the same cannot be said about the screenplay. Second half could have been tighter. One thing that impressed me was the way in which movie ends, showing the glimpse of the second part. It was neat. On the flip-side, camera angles were irritating at some point and there were some unnecessary gory scenes. Abhimanyu Singh as Bukka Reddy was a revelation. His expressions/mannerisms were so brutal and successfully injects terror into each and every scene he comes in. 2 thumbs up for this fine act. Vivek Oberoi was excellent too, as these characters are normally a cakewalk for him. All the other supporting act were also good.
