A special kind of botched sci-fi film experiment. Go to Full Review

Unfortunately, the movie's over-dependence on voice-over and its overwritten script interfere with the audience being able to fully engage. Go to Full Review

Like a "Black Mirror" episode combined with a philosophy seminar, "Realive" has plenty of brains. Yet it has a heart, too, and that adds a surprising amount of emotion to this above-average science-fiction film. Go to Full Review

Realive is a solid entry in Mateo Gil's wheelhouse of deeply resonant emotional dramas(...) This "wrong time" love story works because of the chemistry between the leads, even if the present day/future conflicts pale slightly in comparison. Go to Full Review

09/29/2024 Okay, in all honesty I watched this because I love Tom Hughes, but dude this was pretty bad. If you want to question your life choices, cry, and then wonder if you should've chosen a better film, then i suggest watching Realive. It's pretty much just about Marc (Tom Hughes) talking about his life and his crappy relationship luck, then him popping up in however many years into the future and disliking it. The ending was also meh. Tried liking it but its just not for me. If you want to watch a show with Tom Hughes like I did, I recommend you watch "The Game" because that was prime cinema. Thanks. See more KB B @Okbullard 11/05/2023 This was a compelling movie which was very contemplative. Stick with it because I almost stopped watching it pretty early then changed my mind. I didn't agree with Mark's philosophy on life and death but it was still an enjoyable watch. See more @Loonsan 05/20/2022 Feel like a long-winding diary reading in a laboratory. Another I got what I asked for but didn't consider the consequences so you in the audience should be happy with what you have message movie.
