Audience Member Hamfisted but entertaining spy thriller about an agent (Skerrit) sent to verify a Russian plot to kill Gorby. A few intelligence community inaccuracies, such as spooks shouting about their business in public, and doing other stupid things to call attention to themselves, security personnel not going over ground areas with a metal detector where Gorby will appear, etc. Idiotic Helen Mirin'sid idiotic part could have been almost totally eliminated with no loss to the film. Worse, her hair looks atrocious in this film, as bad as Mrs. Ropers in Three's Company. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Read all reviews
