A group of young recruits in the British navy are spending one last night in an English port town before shipping out for NATO exercises. Mark (David John) sits in a hospital room with a comatose stranger whom he had seen viciously beaten in the street. Steve (John Altman) wants to raise a little hell and find some female companionship. And Malcolm (Martin Barrass) seems intent on getting as drunk as possible.
