Steve D Laughable for all the wrong reasons. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/02/23 Full Review Anthony R If you were a kid in the late 80s or early 90s, this movie was awesome. And 3 decades later, it's still awesome. Probably the greatest movie ever made. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/29/22 Full Review Audience Member Topgun spawned a bunch of movies in the 80s and this is no different. Four teens rescue their parents in this entertaining action vehicle. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Teenaged children (and one 10 year-old) of US special forces men taken prisoner in North Korea plot daring rescue mission. One normally thinks of North Korea as an impoverished nation but the fireworks set up for the workers celebration certainly suggested otherwise. Did shake my head when a Bruce Springsteen t-shirt spared the rescue plane from unknowingly being shot down by US fighters. Somewhat amazingly, the plot could be recycled today. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member A bunch of teens save their imprisoned father's in this Iron Eagle ripoff. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Loved this as a kid. Enjoyed it as an adult. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Ruben Martinez L.A. Weekly The Rescue is so lacking in every human aspect (cardboard cutouts and voice-overs would have achieved similar results) that it will probably come and go rather unnoticed, and justifiably so. Aug 11, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews
