Audience Member Standard fare for RobinCook and made for TV movies of the 90's. This is the precursor of contempo alien infection movies like Pandemic, which shares the same director as Invasion. If you don't take it seriously it's pretty entertaining and unintentionally funny to boot. Just lower your expectations sit back and let it wash over you. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member supongo que el libro es bueno, pero esto me aburrió. Fue una miniserie de dos capítulos. No terminé de ver el primero. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Frances H Not too bad for a pot boiler novel made into a TV movie with second rate stars from TV. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 09/19/16 Full Review Audience Member Not too bad. Luke Perry did a good job in his role as the lead alien. "Based on a story by Robin Cook, this made-for-TV sci-fi-drama concerns a group a predatory aliens who plan an unusual invasion of the Earth." Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member It's just about like every other body-snatching alien invasion conspiracy story. The characters come off weak and generic, and the set up is rather lacking. There isn't much of a pay-off in the end after the three-hour runtime, yet it probably holds together better than most made-for-tv alien flicks. Andy Klein Los Angeles CityBeat The ending is particularly weak and reinforces the notion that this is a horror-movie retread, with no further resonance.
