Cody B As a child born in 1990 I was very familiar with RoboCop, though I’d never seen it in its entirety due to the gore. I wanted to revisit the movie in anticipation for the recently released video game RoboCop: Rogue City. I stumbled across this show instead. The acting in the opening of the pilot is so horrendous that I thought the only explanation was that it was a set-up before the real show, like a satirical in-universe movie featuring our hero Robocop. It plays out like an episode of the 1960’s Batman, but without the charm. Like, “look at this comically silly, comically evil villain with a mash-patato face. He doesn’t stand a chance against our hero RoboCop!” But no, it wasn’t a self-aware gag used by the show, it WAS the show. I thought they were being intentionally campy, it would have been a perfect setup, show the equivalent of a kids show intro to then follow it with the visceral, violent RoboCop we all remember… Avoid this slop. I’ve legitimately seen better acting on PornHub. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/16/25 Full Review Audience Member From an already low budget film series this TV show goes even lower.
